Joanna, 21, is part of the World Class Podium Potential Pathway for athletes with Olympic potential. She is now working in the yard, after leaving school in 2015.

Joanna has ridden four different horses at International level, which includes two rides given to her by Carl Hester. In 2016 and 2017 she was part of the GB team at the Young Rider European Championships riding Highcliffe Apollo. She has competed at the Nationals Championships up to Inter 2. More recently she has moved up to U25 Grand Prix level and has enjoyed success in those classes and in the straight GP classes.

Joanna also competes Flick Haigh’s Habil XX at Small Tour level.

At home, Joanna has several exciting young horses that she is producing at home, including 6 year old’s Simba and Sirocco and 4 year old Dolce.

She has also begun teaching more, with clients including International Junior rider Juliette Lindsay and CCI3* eventer Thomas Martin.
