‘Pilat-ease with Lauren.

Lauren Fois, Angelas older daughter, started doing Pilates at the age of fifteen when she was diagnosed with Scoliosis: a curvature and a twist of the spine. After being told that she probably needed corrective spinal surgery, she was advised to try Pilates first to see if it could help and the results were amazing! A year went by and the surgeon was so impressed at how her muscle tone and posture had improved that she given the news that she should continue what she had been doing and should be surgery free! Since then she has been committed to her Pilates and decided to train to be a Body Control Pilates teacher.  Lauren regularly competes in showjumping as well as schooling horses for us. See below:

Pilates is body conditioning routine that helps to improve core stability, flexibility, muscle strength and endurance in the whole body. The exercises incorporated help to support correct posture and increase core strength, which are used in every day activities, and is particularly beneficial for horse riders.

CONCORDE TWO  (Cole)        Owned and ridden  Lauren Fois.

Cole (Concorde Two) had a tumble in his paddock in January 2016 which caused multiple injuries to the mechanics in his hind leg.  In spite of doing all we could he was getting significantly worse and it was getting more painful. He was sadly put to sleep in April. Lauren is devastated.  He was such a talented horse who just lived for his jumping.  A ‘beast’ to hack, he didn’t like his schooling or plodding around. He just had to go for it,  full on, every time and  Lauren loved him. He was her only horse and all she needed.      R.I.P. Coley, we will all miss you.

Cole is a 16.1hh Dutch Warmblood by Oklund.  Both Laurens previous horses, John Boy/Waltons Top Flight and Cass are by this top showjumping sire, and both have amazing jumping ability.  Starting slowly as a four year old we have bought him on slowly again along Classical lines and he is maturing into a super horse. He is bold with lots of scope and although he was quite a challenge for Lauren in the beginning.

Lauren had numerous wins with Cole over the five years she had him including jumping at the National

Championships.  He had incredible talent and sure he would have taken Lauren to dizzy heights.
