“Two up and coming British riders have been given the chance of a life-time to compete alongside their senior counter parts in the CDIU25 at the Herning European Championships in Denmark (19 – 25 August 2012). Emily Cousins and Samantha Thurman-Baker have been given the nod to compete and will make the trip with the British Senior team of Carl Hester, Laura Tomlinson, Charlotte Dujardin and Michael Eilberg. Uccello on film!
Monday, June 24th, 2013Well done to Melanie Murray and her lovely Lusitano X Andalusian, Uccello, son of Don Diego. They came 2nd in a Novice class on a score of 65.77% which was done by video. Its a competition called Dressageanywhere and is a very good way for people to compete that can’t get out or don’t have transport. Mel rode the test in the arena here and sent it off. Well done to camera man Dennis too!
Home from Hickstead
Sunday, June 23rd, 2013Well what a great week! Samantha rode six tests at the Hickstead Premier League and gained over 70% in them all. Douglas had a few tense moments but they won the Inter 1 with over 72%, the first time they had ridden the test, but the star was Pascal. Â He came 1st and 2nd in the two Grand Prix classes getting 72% and 71% and was so consistent throughout. A very happy Team:)

Somerford Premier League Dressage

Success at Addington Premier League
Tuesday, May 14th, 2013This weekend Pascal and Ted (Undaunted) went to The  Addington Premier League.  Samantha had not ridden Pascal for two weeks but they came away with a second place in the Inter 2 and qualify directly to the National Championships in September with just over 70%. (more…)
Lauren and Cole Qualify for Scope
Monday, May 6th, 2013Lauren took Cole (Concorde Two) to Hartpury yesterday for the Discovery Regional Finals. It was the first time he had been there, it was the most beautiful sunny day and a lovely course to jump. The class was run over 3 rounds which get bigger each time and the last round against the clock, so quite a test for a young chap. (more…)

Samanthas busy two weeks!
Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013Samantha has a very busy couple of weeks coming up. Pascal has gone up to be with her at Carl’s before they head off to the Keysoe Premier League to compete in the Grand Prix on Friday and the Inter II on Saturday. She then has a fast turn around as she loads up Douglas on Monday to travel to Samaur in France to ride in the CDIO Young Rider classes. Good luck and keep us posted on your trips:)
