During the summer months, we will be holding three day clinics here at Turville. 

These include four lessons, either in hand or ridden, and the opportunity to watch us work and train our own horses.

Stabling and hook up are available on site.

We are happy to say that Samantha and Joanna are able to teach again from the yard. Social distancing will apply. We can teach different levels with any breed. Overnight stable available and parking for stay in lorry. Please e-mail thurmanbakers@btinternet.com to arrange.

Our newest member of the team, Juliette Lindsay, who is on a gap year before studying Veterinary science at Surrey university, had great success at the Winter Regional Championships. 18 year old Juliette, had three wins, so qualifying for the Nationals. She won the won the Advanced Medium Silver class and the Advanced Medium freestyle aboard her own Prince (a 12 year old Arab x warm blood). Following on, she then won the Advanced Medium Gold with Apollo, who she has on loan for the year. She also finished 6th in the hotly contested PSG gold with Apollo. What a super day and a super start to 2020 for all involved.

Happy New Year!

Now that the chilly mornings and windy days are upon us, it’s a great time to start up the in hand training. Teach your horse all the lateral work from the ground and encourage core strength with  suppling exercises, a great workout for yourself and your horse!
