Ravel’s Bolero and Bernadette Briggenshaw
Ravel’s Bolero known as Ollie arrived at Turville at the end of November 2007. He is a dark bay, 16.1 Friesian cross warmblood. With his previous owner he had done a couple of preliminary and novice dressage classes and gained 10 dressage points. His scores were not great, but Bernadette believed that could be changed. He was very unfit and lazy, so they spent the winter getting to know each other and working on his fitness.
They started affiliated dressage again in August 08, but decided to skip a couple of levels and went straight in at Elementary level.
He is currently training at advanced medium at home and will start competing at medium level during 2010. He is being aimed for the Petplan Medium Championships this year.
His training has made him a forward, willing and obedient horse who always tries his hardest for you in the ring. This shows in his results.
