Diane helped train Rose Hugh Smith for several years, progressing her to a spot on the pony European team and a team bronze medal with her pony Wisch. Rose trained on some of our horses too, learning how to use a double bridle from a young age and how to adapt to a variety of horses.
Clare Randall has been a long standing client of Diane and Samantha.
Having taken two horses up to Small Tour, the lovely mare Decree gained great scores, getting through to the Winters and Summer National Championship. Her young horse Undaunted ( AKA Ted brought from us) has been gaining scores up to 76% and has qualified for Six classes at this years Regionals

Euwe – Friesian. “The training at Turville has been incredible. Euwe has learnt all the lateral work and is now moving on to more advanced work such as piaffe. This is something I would never have achieved without the superb training we have received during our regular stays. We really cannot thank Diane and team enough.” Clare Axon-Saunders
Susan Armstrong came to us to have help from Diane with her home bred mare Poppy. She was just trying affiliated Dreasage and with Diane’s help they have gone on to make it up to Elementary level and went to the winter Petplan Championship
Snack-a-Jack came to us as a rather ungainly youngster but with super paces and potential. We spent a year working in his flat work, mostly lunge and in -hand which built up his muscles correctly and made him a very balanced ride. We had hoped he would do pure dressage but his heart wasn’t in it so he has now gone off to event which apparently is much more to his liking. Of course his classical training has given him a great platform to work from.
Thanks to Turville Valley Stud my Welsh Cob , Dallas is a real pleasure to ride. With their help, guidance and schooling we have great fun with our Dressage and Working Equitation. He is very supple, performs all the lateral work and very good Spanish Walk….Jean Holmes.
Zimbral – Lusitano Stallion “Zimbral I have been coming to Turville since March & it has been brilliant. Diane has really helped us get to grips with our lateral work which was an area we were struggling with. Diane is one of the few trainers who has not only had traditional Portuguese training, but also knows what is needed to compete to a high standard in modern dressage. Thanks for all your help so far, and looking forward to continuing Zimbral’s training under your guidance.” Emma Brooks
Wess came to us on schooling livery as a four yr old. A gorgeous KWPN, we slowly bought him on and educated him and were thrilled when he won at the Addington Championships. He is now doing well with his owner at home.
Lauren on Alia, the most stunning Andalusian Stallion . Came to us for training, the most intelligent and gifted of horses!
