We have a vacancy for a full time groom (or possible p-time of 3 full days per week) to join us on our friendly livery/training/competition yard. We are looking for an experienced person who is willing to undertake all yard duties and competent enough to take on the day to day running of the yard. Must be a confident rider, enthusiastic, reliable and have good ‘people’ skills. Possibly own horse accommodated as part of the package with training given if wished. References essential. Cass gets a second place

Lauren took Casanova jumping at Patchetts today. Its his first trip out in a month and he jumped really well although a little playful in the warm up. He produced a lovely double clear and came second which is a nice warm up for some Scope Qualifiers coming up this sunday

After a good result in the first test the rain came! The arenas flooded and Joanna lost concentration so made a few mistakes in the second test. Never mind, all a great experience.

Joanna competes abroad for the first time with Highcliffe Apollo

14 years old Joanna and her 10yr old Apollo have made it to France to represent GB at the CDI in Saumur. A problem with the clutch on the lorry leaving Hartpury on Sunday night nearly scuppered their plans. Thankfully good old dad, Charlie, got it sorted and they managed to leave early Tuesday morning for the ferry. The latest : All well but arenas flooded, just like home then! But the show goes on and Apollo doesn’t mind the mud/slush/puddles at all so hopefully he will produce some good tests.

Today, Thursday Joanna came 12th on a score of 65.541%.

We have just heard that Joanna Thurman-Baker and Highcliffe Apollo have won the Petplan Equine Advanced Medium Open Area Festival Championship at The NAF Five Star Winter Dressage Championships 2012.

Samanatha and Pascal won again at the Premier League this time on 70% in the Inter II.

Samantha and Pascal win their first GRAND PRIX

Samantha and Pascal today have won their first GRAND PRIX at the Keysoe Premier league. This gets them straight to the Nationals at Grand Prix. A thrilled Diane phone the result and I believe she won on 68% and by a good margin, (will have to be confirmed as she was talking so fast!!)
