In-hand Demo on 23rd May 2010
Thank you to every one who came to our lecture/demo on Sunday. It was a great turn out and we are already having some lovely messages and e-mails to say how much you enjoyed the afternoon and got a good insight to how we train.
The afternoon began by a parade of various breeds in their respective outfits, all of whom had been trained by our classical methods. This was followed by Diane showing different horses through their stages of training from lunging, putting on side reins, lateral in-hand work, ridden lateral, collection, up to piaffe, passage and showing Spanish Walk and the reason for doing it. The demo finished with Pascal showing his moves.
We hope to do another such demo later in the year, details of which will be posted here.
There are some photos on our demonstration page and more in the gallery.
Fantastic pictures in the gallery – what a lovely Friesian doing piaffe!!!! We’re very proud to have made it onto your website
Thank you so much for all your help and training with Euwe these last few weeks, we’re already planning our next stay.
The demo was absolutely brilliant, it was a credit to all at Turville.

Throughly enjoyed seeing beautifully schooled horses being ridden off invisible aids, wow! Can’t wait for the next one!
Thanks so much to Diane for my lessons with Zimbral this weekend too, I had a great time and learnt A LOT
An extremely enjoyable afternoon.
The demo was so well organised and informative; starting from training the basics on the lunge through to the more complex moves of one-time changes, piaffe and passage.
It was an absolute delight to watch the horses being ridden and the impeccable behaviour demonstrated before an audience.
It was a proud moment watching Emma and Zimbral and also seeing their pictures on your website.
Looking forward to our next visit and the next demonstration.
Many thanks again.
Thoroughly enjoyed the lecture/demo – wonderful to see all types of calm and happy horses enjoying their work – riders too! It was lovely to see how gentle the aids were and the riding appeared almost effortless, although probably far from it in the heat! Also a special treat to see Samantha and Spring Pascal as have read about their success in H&H. .It was a fascinating experience and the time went so quickly. Many thanks.
